Virihaure by Peter Block
“Virihaure, a lake in North Sweden, was as smooth as glass. The boat approached and I waited until it got near to the golden section. Endless silence in combination with a boat cutting the smooth surface like a knife. The guy in the boat is one of the natives living in a really small village next to the lake.”

Konditori Valand is an eerie coffee shop around the corner, frozen in time. The walls, tables, charis and machines are still the way they were in 1954 and proudly so. The owner, however, has aged with the place and makes you feel that you are in a moment more fleeting than most in your life.

P.S. Heeey Anthony! When are you coming back to this continent?!
From Inhabitat:
“The Jumbo Hostel is housed within a retrofitted 747-200 situated in the Stockholm-Arlanda airport. It was last operated by Transjet, a now bankrupt Swedish airline. The Jumbo Hostel has 25 rooms with three bunk beds each. Each room is around 6 square meters, and naturally, a lucky visitor will get the chance to sleep in the cockpit.”
